Account & Data Deletion

Your data belongs to you. You can permanently delete your Divyam account and all associated personal data at any time — directly from the app or by contacting us. No questions asked.

Option 1 — Delete from the App (Instant)

The fastest way to delete your account is directly inside the Divyam app:

Open the Divyam app Available on Android (Google Play) and at divyam.app

Go to Settings Tap the ⚙️ settings icon in the top-right corner of the Home screen

Scroll to the bottom Find the "Delete My Account" button at the bottom of the Settings page

Confirm deletion Tap "Delete My Account" and confirm when prompted. Your account is permanently deleted immediately.

Option 2 — Request via Email

If you cannot access the app, email us and we will delete your account manually within 5 business days:

  1. Send an email to support@divyam.app
  2. Use subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  3. Include the email address or phone number linked to your account
  4. We will confirm deletion within 5 business days

What Data Is Deleted & What Is Kept

When you delete your account, here is exactly what happens to your data:

Birth details (date, time, place) Permanently Deleted Within 30 days
AI reading history (Kundli, Vastu, etc.) Permanently Deleted Within 30 days
Palm photos uploaded Permanently Deleted Within 30 days
Chat messages with advisor Permanently Deleted Within 30 days
Saved addresses & preferences Permanently Deleted Within 30 days
Payment transaction records Retained 7 years (required by Indian tax law under GST Act)
Anonymised usage analytics Retained (anonymised) No personal identifiers; cannot be linked back to you

All personal data is permanently erased within 30 days of your deletion request. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian financial regulations (GST Act, 2017) but contain no spiritual or profile data.
