Divyam ("we", "our", "us") is a spiritual services platform available at divyam.app and on Android via the Google Play Store. We provide AI-powered spiritual tools, pandit booking, puja kits, and a spiritual community.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account details: name, email address, phone number
• Profile: date of birth, birth time, birth place (for Kundli readings)
• Loved ones: names and birth details you add for family readings
• Booking details: address, ceremony date, service preferences
• Payment: processed securely by Razorpay — we do not store card numbers
• Photos: palm images uploaded for palm reading analysis
• Messages: chat messages with the AI spiritual advisor

Information collected automatically

• Location: city/state (for local offers and pandit search)
• Device info: device type, OS version, app version
• Usage data: features used, screens visited, reading history
• Crash reports: error logs to help us fix bugs

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide personalised AI-powered spiritual readings (Kundli, Vastu, Horoscope, etc.)
• To connect you with verified pandits and astrologers
• To process bookings and payments
• To save your reading history so you can access it anytime
• To show you relevant offers and services in your city
• To send booking confirmations and service updates
• To improve the app and fix issues
• To comply with legal obligations

4. AI Services

Our AI spiritual tools use the Claude API by Anthropic to generate readings and guidance. Data you enter (birth details, questions, photos) is sent to Anthropic's servers to generate responses. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing. We do not use your data to train AI models.

All AI-generated readings are for spiritual guidance and entertainment purposes only. They are not professional medical, legal, or financial advice.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these cases:

• Service providers: Firebase (database & auth), Razorpay (payments), Anthropic (AI), Expo (app platform) — each bound by strict data agreements
• Pandits/Astrologers: booking details shared with the service provider you book
• Legal requirements: if required by Indian law or court order
• Business transfer: if Divyam is acquired, data may transfer to the new owner with the same privacy protections

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers (Mumbai, India region where available). We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised team members only.

Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay and are PCI-DSS compliant. We never see or store your card details.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction: update incorrect information from your profile in-app
• Deletion: delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Delete My Account, or by emailing us
• Data portability: request your data in a machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent: you can stop using the app and request data deletion at any time

8. Children's Privacy

Divyam is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us immediately at support@divyam.app and we will delete the account.

9. Cookies & Tracking

The Divyam web app uses essential cookies and local storage to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

10. Third-Party Links

The app may contain links to temple websites, religious organisations, or partner services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be notified within the app. Continued use of Divyam after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

12. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.
